Lexus LF-1 Concept

Just saw it and sat inside a bit. Front end is odd in my opinion. I feel like I don't know where to look when I look at it dead on. It's like it doesn't have eyes. Overall size and proportions kind of remind me of the Maserati Levante.

Did you have any pictures of the inside, particularly rear seating, trunk...?

The front end looks like the mechanical equivalent of a mole. The grill looks like it's made of a giant piece of molded rubber. I was hoping the real headlamps raised from being hidden, but if what I see is it, then I'm not that keen on the front.

I really like this 3/4" view....

Looks more like an abbreviated station wagon body than SUV or CUV. I rather see them go a bit more masculine.

trying to understand the positioning of this possible model... it seems like a 4 seater (likely to be 5 if released), seems maybe nx sized?

Its confirmed that its RWD based - finally Lexus is doing something right!
Styling looks pretty good too.
I think this new SUV is what the Infiniti FX used to be and will compete with Jag Fpace and RangeRover Velar, X6, GLE coupe etc. So fun, sporty, stylish.

It's sort of what the FX50/QX70 was in the Infiniti lineup, the higher tiered SUV in terms of style and power while retaining the high ride height and cargo capabilities. Since I have an RX350 for the wife, I would consider this vehicle for myself (it wouldn't supplant our RX).

I think this will complement the current lineup nicely. I like the overall design and proportions as well. I think it needs: wider rims and tires, headlights to get rid of the squinting/sour looking face of a front and of course F badges. And, what is under the hood??!!?!

The Lexus press release calls it a Flagship implying that it is at the top of their line. Obviously on the GS-L Platform which is RWD architecture. They left the powertrain description out other than that it could be hybrid or fuel cell at least as an option. Anyone for a LS500 crossover?
