In a bad way with my es300 Platinum edition.
I purchased my car last summer and lost the key. I lost my paperwork for title which was a transfer from an auction. Now I don't know how to find out if he put his end of the transfer in and if it even matters. She's a beauty! No scratches and a new engine for 1400 was a steal. I'm just lost now. I don't know where to go or how to do it. Can I get a new ecu and ignition from a junkyard or am I screwed?

If there was a pick n pull in your area, I guess that's what I do, change out all the locks, glove, door trunk, etc, and then immobilizer and ignition barrel if you can't wait for the paperwork to come into your possession and have 1 key made. Not crazy difficult, just might not be worth it for the price of one key.

I'm guessing you already tried going to the dealer and they rebuffed you without some sort of proof of ownership.
