because generally speaking, people in San Antonio still have respect for others. In Harris county, seems as though most are self centered. Don't care about how their actions affects others. When people drive that way, it makes traffic way worse. Things like entering and exiting the interstate via the grass embankment. Exiting to just use the entrance, so they can personally gain a few spots. I have driven in many large cities. the only one that was worse than Houston, was New York City. While there are butt heads on the road wherever you, Houston takes it to a higher level.

I've driven in Houston and I personally thought DC was way worse.

DC's traffic problem is that, unlike most cities, it is recession-proof because of the Federal Government, growth and development never stops, there is an enormous amount of money earned and spent in the area on new vehicles, much of the left-wing population is dead-set against new or widening roads and bridges, and the always-rush pace of life means a lot of impatient, me-first drivers.

BTW, if my memory is not off, I think I remember you from a couple of Subaru forums when I had my 2006 Outback.
