Well no wonder it's gonna be light when they took out everything including comfort and amenities that make a daily driver car like the other two. Every Mclaren is so spartan inside almost Lotus like. Shame cause it rides kind of comfy, at least that MP12 did.

Wonder how the 570, 650, 675 or even the old MP4-12C would have done considering they are all quicker than the 540c.

The 540C is still not planned for the US, correct?

Considering how bad the GT-R interior is (esp. center console and switches), I sure wish it was more spartan! (Last GT-R I drove was the Nismo, too.)

Such a fan of Mclaren and what they achieve. I wish they'd scale back with all these different models. Seems like every time I blink there is a new one. Nonetheless great video and even better cars!

I don't belive McLaren included scaling back in their business plan

we know they are doing the P14 to replace the 650/675 and bring more torment to Ferrari and the 488
they are also doing the P23 to follow up their P1

they will also be adding hybrid flavors across platforms

i do not believe the 540 will get to the US

my local dealer is doing well with the 570 (stickered at about $220k with options) and 650 spiders (I was told that most 650 customers are doing the open top stickered toward $300k with options)

it it seems like Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porshe are all co-existing nicely. I kind of see Aston as having the weakest spot on the board

By all account P14 will be amazing, they learned a lot from 12C/650s which was the first generation and first masd produced car for Mclaren.

If i was spending 200k, 570S / GT is a no brainer vs GTR, NSX, 911 Turbo S for pure performance and looks.

Agreed. I'd go for the 570 GT. Same exotic nature with a bit more functionality. And the only one of those that has 8 cylinders

That video looks a little misleading to me. I think I'd pick the NSX if I had the choice, but I do like that Mac.

The McLaren is awesome but do you want to own one after the warranty is bye bye.

I have no fear of living with my NSX for a long time.

Among those you listed, the 570S would also be my choice - and it's not close. Only problem for me is dealership network.

That would be my biggest concern, newish low volume British exotic, sounds like a bank account draining recipe that would terrify me.
