Lexus IS revealed Sriracha Edition
Lexus has been teasing something on its Instagram Stories feed for Wednesday. Has anyone seen or heard anything? Yesterday they had a close up shot of a seat with bright green stitching as well.

Yikes. Looks like a brake calliper, in contrast to this, MB is introducing a S-Class cabriolet Maybach, it just goes to show what different of a direction Lexus is going compared to the competition.

Hm, why are we only hearing about it now? Hype two days before an unveil? Is this normal for Lexus?
I can only guess its something electric...plug-in?
That looks like a pretty big caliper...my guess is LS but isn't hydrogen usually blue themed? Then again the F-Sport already took blue.

The pursuit of F
Guys. This is the '17 IS... Look closely at the dash you can see the housing surrounding the Power button and the horizontal dash section afar. Also, the wheel gives it away too.
They had Crafted Line a year or so ago. Now a "green" line???

My heart says they will finally make a new ISF or LFA, but my logical side tells me it's some sort of new hybrid since it's green. Sort of how the Porsche 918 has green contrasting everywhere to symbolize their "eco" roots.
Would be cool to an LFA hybrid supercar though But since this is all being teased through Instagram and only 2 days in advance I very highly believe it's just another hybrid variant of an existing model. Or perhaps a Lexus incorporating their new fuel cell technology.
