If you're looking at crossover utility vehicles, they compare pretty well. Personally I think Acuras feel low end inside, more like nicer Hondas than anything really luxurious, but they offer a good vehicle in a nice package.

When you start looking at sedans, coupes, higher end vehicles Acura doesn't compete at all, but in that entry level segment in sedans they compete, and in that midlevel crossover they compete well.

Are you having buyers remorse?

I would say that both Acura and Lexus build a very durable and reliable car. Companies that compile this data such as Consumer Reports, JD Power, etc would point you to the conclusion that in general Lexus vehicles are more durable and reliable, but I would expect your RDX will be a fine vehicle.

Ordinarily I'd say they're the same but Acura has had spotty reliability on some of its newest debuts. The MDX and TLX suffered teething issues at the time of debut. In any event you bought a solid car, no use worrying about it now. Enjoy your purchase.

oh no, I drove both and they both had the same ride quality and features and with certain things I preferred the Acura that's why I bought it, I also test drove the NX which I really didn't care for

Hmm, RDX actually compares to NX and MDX compares to RX350. Though MDX is larger but price wise they are pretty close.

The RDX is kind of in between the NX and the RX. The RX is definitely more vehicle.

up until the 2014 model came out, i'd have said the MDX was the best SUV in it's segment. this 3rd gen model is really a massive disappointment for the MDX, idk if it's only because of the switch to assembly in alabama but it definitely feels more flimsy than previous generations, and it also loses versatility now that there's less ground clearance and worse angles of approach and departure. i also HATE the touch screen that replaces all of the climate controls and infotainment system. it's a very nice drive and it's pretty quick, and it's selling better than ever so what do i know

Most if not all Acura products hold up well against Lexus in their intended segment.
