seriously good looking:

nice 10" widescreen center stack display:

love how jag has unified their styling across the range, including the great rear lights:

0-60 in 5.2 for the 's' model.
great 5yr/60k warranty...

I haven't driven it but I did look at one pretty extensively at the dealer. Love the styling, I'm sure it drives great.

What I did not love was the interior, much like the interior on the XF and XE, I find them too modern and stark for my taste, and material quality isn't so great.

Man you look at everything huh?

motorweek i believe said the interior is a step up from other jag models.

When I think of a true Jag interior (which, sadly, is no longer done) something like this is what usually first comes to mind...........

I test drove one. It really is a fantastic drive and the exterior is striking. The interior immediately disqualified it though. The materials and design are lacking in comparison to other entries in that segment.

On a side note, the XE is supposed to get a nicer interior come facelift time. This is hilarious considering last minute cost cutting is what gave us the current interior.

That is the up level navigation system and interior. I think you generally need to step up to the R-Sport or S model for that. The interior on even the "Prestige" is hard plastic all along that center console, etc. That said the exterior design and the size is a great balance. Pleasing dynamically as well over something like the RX, etc.

Have only seen one on the road so far. A silver one. Car was smaller than I expected, but looks great.

I often have big gaps out in the world in between appointments, which gives me lots of time to stop by car dealers and check out the new models lol

I just don't care for their interior design aesthetic. I like something a little more traditional, I like wood trim...I hate rotary gearshift *****...etc. I like the XJ a lot, but its an example of their outgoing style.

Haven't driven one yet but have sat in one. Exterior is really well done, very Jag which means very good. Car seemed a little smaller than I expected when walking up to it yet had good room front and back. The interior and the craftsmanship where not what I expected and that's a shame. No plans to drive one at this point, but never say never

I really wanted to like the F-pace, but after spending time with few I am wholly disappointed because the interior is a ginormous flop. Not only is it uninteresting to the eye (relative to the competition), but the material quality is rental grade. The entire lower half of every door, for example, is cheap hard plastic. Everybody, from BMW Audi Mercedes Porsche and even Lexus, did a much better job with their SUVs. Every honest review I've read has pointed out the interior shortcomings as well. It's so bad in my opinion, that even the interiors of vehicles like the outgoing Q7 and E70 X5 are superior from inside. We are talking vehicles that hit the market a decade ago.

Jag really took a step back in interior quality with their recent models. All of their models, including the XE and XF, are huge let-downs and deal-breakers for most consumers. I have to wonder how bad the new XJ will be compared to the new S-class, 7-series, and forthcoming A8.

It looks great until you actually get inside one that isn't some model loaded to the tee. Even the loaded models have the hard plastic all over the doors, lower-end models don't have the stitched dash or interesting interior colors.

My wife and I drove one and it was a great driving vehicle. They are a little too small for what we are looking for but we liked it.

Are you going to stop at Chantilly and check out the F-Pace? If so, the Jag/Land Rover shop is right across street from the big Toyota place.

That's where I saw it. I drove the RR Sport on that visit.
