2jzgte swap in????? a Conquest
Hey everybody,
I was on CL years ago when I started this swap. Ive also got flammed to death on Supraforums for not having a Supra (seems as if now you need a VIN number of a Supra to get in).
I Have an 88 Chysler Conquest with an Aristo 2jzGTE and a R154 trans. I Have a Bosch 044 as well as the fuel pump mod. the engine is stock TT and Stock ECU.
As you know the Aristo Body plugs are hacked off before shipping so I have a few auto wires that are all over the place.
Amazingly after many nights and many people saying im wasting my time. the car runs when you spray either in from the intake. the injectors wont open. I have continuity in the injectors and ignighters voltage gets to the injector as well as ground signal in the ground wires leading into the ECU.
I know its just a matter of something simple that im missing. Im about to go over the many diagrams and ask around the net again, I just figured maybe someone here had and idea.
Though I dont have a Lexus I hope I can stay in CL
Thanks for any input

my advice would be to privately message someone on the 1st gen SC forums, or 2nd gen GS forums. There are multiple threads there with people who have knowledge on the 2jz and have done the swap themselves. Good Luck..
I did that a few times, but the end result was almost Always the same. After getting blasted for not owning the Supra I would have the reason to them why should they help me. And after getting the runaround and a brow beating they would say well just check threads its all there you just gotta look. What they don't tell you is there a couple of things that are not in the threads that are intentionally not listed (magician's secrets i call them) to keep you from completing. Now i just read everythin6f on engines and try my own ideas. Ill check out the GS forums though.
Thanks for the advice
