Indeed. With the huge investment Geely is putting into Volvo, I think Volvo is much better positioned for the future than it ever was under Ford.

 

If I was a customer shopping for a midsize luxury sedan, I would not look at the GS200T. The 2.0 I4 Turbo in the IS200t is pushing it, but in a GS? Ok, someone will tell me get the GS350 if I wanted power. But wait, the engine is practically the same since 2006 (5hp difference, whoopy!). I'm not paying that kind of money to get something that's been around for a while. It's like they took a page out of Acura's book and stretched the engine out as long as possible. By now, the GS is no longer on my radar. It's such a shame because the GS is my favorite model of all the Lexus sedan.
