Default Lexus advisory board

Every so often I get an email survey from them. Got this one today.

"Thank you for your continued participation in the Lexus Advisory Board.

In this study, we are interested in learning more about the expectations you have for in-vehicle connectivity and ways Lexus can meet those expectations."

It asked a lot of questions about Apple car play and Android auto. One question was who I thought made better in car apps, Lexus or Apple

Just kinda of interesting that Lexus might thinking about car play.

Tell them to greatly expand the LCD in the instrument cluster so that it covers a lot of that space next time they talk to you.

I almost got an A7 and frankly the only thing I liked better in that car versus my Lexus was the huge LCD in the instrument cluster that could display everything at once.

Radio station, song, mileage, temperature, navigation, and a bunch of other, selectable stuff ALL AT THE SAME TIME, instead of hitting that display button.

I couldn't agree more. It is the most annoying thing one has to toggle through menus and waste time just to read the basics. All the things you listed are BASIC pieces of info that should be viewed all at once. I can't believe some manufacturers still make you choose in these modern times.
And while you are at it, please tell them to bring back a digital clock. Instant number reading is far quicker and more precise than dissecting the hands of some elegant piece of artwork.

Even that gauge style is so 2010. Audi's new virtual cockpit is where its at.
