Most Lexus concept cars have turned into production cars....

LF-A = LFA
LF-S = Lexus GS 3rd Gen
LF-C = Lexus IS C
LF-Ch = Lexus CT
LF-Gh = Lexus GS 4th Gen
LF-Sh = Lexus LS 4th Gen
LF-Xh = Lexus RX 3rd Gen

Forgotten:

LF-X
LF-AR

That's not exactly a production vehicle though and it's a very different type of the loosely used term "hybrid."

Great! I love that they went with the proportions of the LFA+1SC. It makes it very unique and beautiful at the same time. I'm sure like other Lexus hybrid concepts before it, the production model will have gas and hybrid trims so I'm not hung up on it having the hybrid badge. And Lexus has proven with the new GS450h that they can make a quite sporty hybrid. But like Trexus said we should expect a full line of SC/LC cars including an F car that will be a mini LFA.

I measured the wheelbase versus the wheel size according to the official pic and it came out to 108.9", much longer than the LFA's 102.6", obviously necessary to accommodate the rear seats.

Lexus to Unveil Sport Coupe Concept Vehicle at North American International Auto Show in Detroit

TORRANCE, Calif., Dec. 21, 2011 – Taking the new Lexus design direction one step further, the LF-LC 2+2 sport coupe will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit at 1:25 p.m. Eastern time on January 9, 2012.

“Crafted from a clean sheet of paper at the request of Lexus headquarters in Japan, the LF-LC blends both high technology and organic shapes to connect the driver to the machine,” said Mark Templin, Lexus group vice president and general manager. “The clean lines of the vehicle emphasize motion, creating a distinctive look for this futuristic sport coupe.”

Conceived as a design exercise to explore the future of Lexus design, the LF-LC was created at the company’s Calty design studio in Newport Beach, Calif.

Enjoy,

Joe Z

The SC300/400 is one of my favorite cars, I, as I'm sure many others here, would love to see this car as a successor to the SC. However the concepts you linked were never described as "design exercises", but rather previews of production versions to come. An "exercise" implies that there won't be a production version, at least not for some time.

as long as they keep the lines of the of the 1 SC and not the SC430, then the rear back seats is livable

This is nice. I hope it turns into a nice production SC500. May be this will give Lexus a chance to own the GT coupe market again like it did with SC300/400.

Holy crap

I take back everything bad I said about Lexus

Please make this into a SC500/600 with 450+ hp with a MSRP less then $150k please, please..............

I don't care how the power is made as long as there is a lot of power, gas, electric, diesel, solar, nitrogen fuel cell........etc.
