They work, I was driving a Phantom about 70 MPH when it finally blewout. Thank goodness I was in Newport Beach & therefore not far from a RR dealer. I proceeded @ 55 MPH while the owner called ahead to the dealership. When we arrived 15 minutes later there was a Phantom loaner awaiting our arrival.

For that much money I rather have a hard-top convert., but ultra luxury owners like soft-top more.

You have a good point......a folding hard top generally provides a lot more insulation from noise and weather that one would expect in a luxury car.

Yes they do
I had flat tires on my 7 after work, I drove home at 55mph and went to the dealership the next
morning on my flat tire, total 15 miles and I couldn't even notice any difference.
