Lesson learned: never ever try funny stuff on a narrow lane. There is literally no room to forgive your mistake. Find a WIDE road like a Parking lot.

Another member of the "more money than brains" club. It seems that the ability to purchase a performance car does not carry with it the ability to drive it, nor the intelligence to know when you're in WAY over your head. These things are the life-blood of YouTube.

From the link, it appears that while the driver had the "launch control" on, it is ONLY functional in first gear - meaning that when you upshift to second, you're on your own. False sense of security, that. It seems that no amount of electronic wizardry will protect an immature fool from his folly. Sort of a roadgoing form of Darwinism in which the most unfit drivers are eliminated from the population, often by violent and expensive means.

Next year we will be calling the base Corvette a Supercar and the Z06 a Hypercar.
Probably gonna lean more so torwards the new Corvette being a damn close car to a super car. 650hp/650ft lbs don't lie.

X2
How right you are. He didn't even try to keep it on the road. An experienced 7 year old go cart driver could have done a better job.

That doesn't make it a supercar. Applying that same logic, this 700hp Civic would also be a supercar(it's definitely not a supercar):

Are the C7 and the C7 Z06 impressive? Absolutely. But they're both sportcars.

Nick, google Corvette and Supercar. Its close enough to debate but this isn't the thread to do it in.

This will be a great topic for the debate forum actually, someone can go start it.
