You write words like an American.. Are you Japanese?
I agree with you, about the Lexus needing to bring out a new model. I have owned many LS cars and still do... I don't know if I would agree that the S550 is better than the LS600.. maybe or maybe not! As you know, the LS600hl is far superior to the LS 460l.

Currently, I use the Jaguar xjl awd. Very nice car but it's turbo noise is every annoying to me. I wish I had bought the V8. AWD was available only in V6.
I have a jaguar xf with a v8 and it really is a fun car. The lexus GS is not even a close comparision.

You mentioned "looks". The jaguars get more looks that my ls600hl.

I did drive the S550 and the S63. They are both very nice cars.. One of these two would be my next car! I am very disappointed with the styling of the LS.. I dislike the spindle grille. From rear, it looks more like a BMW 7. 2007 started a beautiful design trend for Lexus and at that time, equal to the S550.. but the new LS is very disappointing in styling.

I assume you got the S550 already? Pics? What color is your S63?

i know that some might justify the price (and I'm not knocking them if they want to spend it on an S65...it's their money), but consider that a price tag like that will buy THREE Lexus LS460s.....one of the most well-respected luxury cars in the business.
Nothing else depreciates like an S65 either. You can buy one that's 3-4 years old, CPO with warranty, less than 30,000 miles for E class money.

I am looking for a deal on a 2014 S65 or S63. No 2014 S65s available at all. I don't know if they were even made in 2014. 2015 S65s were, obviously, quite expensive - in the $175k range, I think.
Even 2014 S63 has not depreciated badly. They are still around $100kk to $110k (list $170k). 2014 S550 is around $70k (list $110k i assume). All with 10k miles/year - not even high mileage.
It seems as if S65 is made in very small volume - not large enough to fall rapidly.. I wonder if overseas market dictates it.. There was a talk of people buying S class in USA and taking it to Russia and other countries..
