Default Lexus RX getting brake checked on freeway from WRX

wow.

"The Subaru came from behind at around 100 mph in moderate morning traffic. He cut from the fast lane to the slow lane and got trapped behind this Lexus. Subaru was honking and tailgating for a mile or two. Lexus remained calm with the Subaru behind him and maintained a slow but constant speed. Lexus never brake checked Subaru. Subaru then passes Lexus on the shoulder. 0:02 rolls down window and throws something at Lexus. Once in front of the Lexus he starts brake checking him. The Lexus came close to crashing into him twice. The Subaru threw a couple of bottles at him later at the interchange and they both went on their merry ways on different freeways."

I rarely see WRX/STI drivers drive courteously. Same goes for most newer Mustangs and Camaros. I hope insurance rates nab them a bit.

Get the plate number and turn into the cops. Let them deal with it. What if there is a kid in that suv like I have 90% of the time. This would **** me off. Heck just watching the vid upset me. Young punk.

This is why I have a dash cam and metal bumpers on my FJ Cruiser.

then the Lexus shouldn't have been right on his azz? should've called the cops on the WRX.

IMO, both were at fault here.

Yep.....from my experience, though there are exceptions, in general, Mustang GT is #1, BMW 3-series is #2, and Subie WRX/STI is #3.

This guy got arrested. Denied any wrongdoing until cops showed him the video....

If you're in such a rush to get somewhere keep going, brake checking some car only slows you down.

So he's not only a complete ***-hole behind the wheel, but a liar as well?

I don't have much sympathy for people like that....lock him up. If not actual time in a cell, then at least a stiff fine (and points) for reckless driving.

Not defending the STI driver, but I wonder if prior to the video the RX did something whether on purpose or not that caused the Subaru driver to go road rage crazy

I have moderate road rage. People don't really understand it has nothing to do with being in a rush to get somewhere. The annoyance comes from incompetent drivers and their actions that slow the world down
