When will Lexus F h?

When will Lexus F h?
When will Lexus F Performance get Lexus Hybrid Drive?
Lexus has pioneered hybrid technology in the luxury segment for over a decade now. There are 7 current models including the HS still sold in Japan and an 8th with the upcoming LC 500h.
The LC 500h debuts the new Multi-Stage Transmission which should prove to be the most engaging transmission in a hybrid model (Lexus/Toyota) short of a Toyota TS050 to date.
Meanwhile Lexus F Performance while still young, is rooted by Toyota's rich Motorsport heritage. From the first F model the IS F, to the pivotal LFA halo, to the IS F CCSR project that bore the RC F and GS F, Lexus F is off to a great start at not even a decade old.
At some point Lexus F and Lexus h will cross paths. How many years away are we from seeing the first Lexus F model bear hybrid technology? 5 years? 10 years? To that end, what Lexus model line will be the first to combine F and h?
Let's hear your thoughts! Discuss!!

As it turns out, it probably is too good to be true. The vid was put together, not by Lexus, but by film school graduate Simon Brown. Despite Lexus not having said a word about the potential for a hydrogen model of their bellicose coupe, Toyota has announced their intention to build tens of thousands of hydrogen powered vehicles by 2020. We’re keeping our fingers crossed until then.

New UK laws drastically cut benefits for these small battery PHEVs, completely for those over $80k.
If you want real performance, then you have things like Rimac Concept S. Not limited to first 20 miles.

Down to Lexus pricing, i8 would have been better vehicle in every way if they simply put in the M3 engine. It would have been a lot faster and have more consistent performance not related to what the state of battery is. But, they would not be able to skirt around emission taxes in half of the Europe, which is why those cars are made.

We're straying a little off topic though. This is about Lexus, F, and h. I think by 2025 if not sooner we'll see a Lexus F badged vehicle that is also h. What application is another story, mainstream model (ala IS, GS etc..) or perhaps another supercar project.
Sooner or later Lexus will electrify more vehicles.

Agree that anything bigger than the I3 would make the i8 more consistent. I believe the base price on that is around $140K.

And any other car.
But if fuel price becomes a concern again, I am sure we will see LC-Fh.

The hybridization of future Lexus performance vehicles doesn't have to focus on efficiency, just ask that quartet of hybrid hyper cars and more to come in the future. TMG could be tapped for their expertise. We're still years off, but a hybrid LFA II would be pretty wicked.
