Default Latest pickup...13 WRX

just got her on Tuesday....

it's a rare (to me) 'Limited' model with NAV/leather/sunroof/heated seats/HIDs/fogs;
also SPT exhaust and STI short throw shifter. I damn near bought a STI, but just couldn't swing the $$$.

Isn't my car but looks exactly like this....but with tinted windows

Congrats, sweet looking ride. these cars are such performance monsters, my friend has the STI of the same gen, and with about 6-7k of suspension related mods (incl labor) he was running my lotus friends down at the tail of the dragon!

Weird thing about WRX vs STI tho....

WRX wheels = 5x100 bolt pattern
STI wheels are 5x114.3

Great pickup, good thing it has the short shifter already on it, otherwise that throw over to 5 was in like the passenger footwell.

Congratulations.

We've already spoken PM, but one thing I forgot to mention is that the turbo will help keep a lot of the sea-level power (not all of it, but much of it) at the mile-high altitude in Denver you're moving to, where many N/A engines would start to run out of breath. That's why turbocharged piston-engined airplanes are also popular out West at high-altitude airports, where not having enough take-off power on a short runway could be dangerous.

Nice! I put a deposit down on black '14 WRX a couple months ago. Used, but only 4000 miles. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but was willing if they'd come down a bit. Even after negotiating, they were still $4000 over KBB, so I backed out.

I think I like my IS350 more than I would have the WRX, but there's a girl in my area who has one, and whenever I'm behind her in traffic, I'm a little jealous...

Welcome to the neighborhood. I have 2015 WRX, but I had a lot of seat time in older WRX/STI while waiting for my WRX.

Aftermarket short throw and sway bars/endlinks should be on top of mod list.

I actually bought some STI wheels but the seller was kind enough to refund me after I told him the reason.

Congrats on the purchase! I have an '13 Base WRX grey myself. I love it but it's almost time to part ways with it already. I don't know what i'll pick up next but i hope it won't be slower!

very nice cars, close friend owns a 13 as well with down-pipe, exhaust and tune. surprisingly though, my brothers S2000 with I/H/E was neck/neck with him when we took it for a run on the highway.

surprised it didn't take apart the S2000 to be honest, still a badass car, nonetheless
