Thumbs up Lexus manuals online

bravo to lexus for putting all their manuals online and searchable even!

some here may not be aware of it, even though it's been mentioned before.

very helpful to look for info beyond the marketing fluff, website inaccuracies, etc.

I'm generally opposed to having too much technology/electronics in cars, but, nevertheless, I agree that having the Owners' Manual online is a good idea. If nothing else, it helps solve the problem of (some) tiny, peep-hole glove boxes on some newer cars that are simply too small for the folder/pack that even the average-sized Owners Manual and Warranty booklet fits into.

to me the value is also in being able to read what you want before test driving or buying a car. having a little knowledge of the vehicle before hitting the dealer is a good thing, especially any feature that is of particular interest. the website and salesperson are likely to be of almost zero value.

If you have an iPad check out a couple of apps for the sedans; 2013 Lexus LS, Lexus GS350, 2013 Lexus ES and Lexus IS. Nice visuals and pop up features, practice use of the controls and options/colors. The IS even has expanded links if you scan the IS sales brouchure.

I sat in a new Audi S7 and the manual was stored on the car's hard drive. Do the new Lexus models do that?
