Thumbs down When shopping carts attack!!!

Picking up some last minute items for FormulaD last Friday I went inside Pubix for maybe ten minutes tops. When I come outside, fear strikes...

I try my best to put my carts in the cart aisles or at least lodged on some grass so they don't move. Sadly many people don't want to take 1 minute out of their life to do the same.

We had another thread on this specific subject recently. One of the points I made was, if possible, not to park downhill from where carts are stored or typically gathered, to prevent them from rolling downhill into your car.

To be honest, I at least partially blame lazy or partially-disabled people who either don't give a s*** about common courtesy, following the store's rules, or are physically unable to roll the carts back to their proper storage-places without undue exertion. But, if THAT's the case, almost all grocery stores have baggage-loaders who work the front-end and load groceries as a courtesy. If one is disabled, all he or she has to do is leave the cart by the front rail, ask for assistance, go pull up their vehicle, and someone will be waiting to load them. I did it myself, as a part-time job in college, for a couple of years before I got my permanent Government job.

I saw how you misspelled Publix and it made me chuckle. I know, I know--I need to grow up. Man, I miss Florida.

Just something to have your stress levels in the red, I contemplated many remedies like for example, a sort of electronic field around my RX to repel shopping carts, but the real origin of this sort of thing is people that haven't been taught by their parents to respect other people's property.

Man I park behind the store and then make sure I am 12 spaces from anyone. I have had nightmare cart stories with my G35. Was familiar with the art of PDR

Last year, about 2 months after I bought my 2013 Azera I was at Krogers with my son and while coming out I noticed a woman let her shopping cart go halfway across the parking lot and it made a beeline for my passenger door. I heard the loud thunk, my son ran to grab and yelled "I got it Daddy!" and I was like "I don't think so son". Woman who launched it watched it all unfold and immediately got into her early 90's Buick Century and hauled *** out of the lot. Kroger's wouldn't do a thing and I was out ~$900 in damage to my passenger door on a brand new car. Pissed doesn't properly sum up my emotions about that and what I think of people who leave their carts out.

I refuse to shop at Kroger for very same reason. They don't have staff clean up the carts often enough. They are everywhere. I can't imagine there are that many people just left carts there when they're done. I see flying carts in the lot quite often. Yes, flying due to strong wind and large open space. One time it hit my GS and pushed the mirror folded. It put the first dent on my car and couple sratches under the mirror.
I found something just right for you

IMO, they shouldn't HAVE to clean up the carts. Lazy-a** customers should either take of them themselves, or, if disabled, ask a store employee to load their bags for them. That's part of their jobs.

I've never seen a place worse than Vegas for people leaving their cars wherever. These people need to have the carts shoved up their rectums.
