Is it worth it to change my own oil?? Just found out its $90 for a full synthetic oil change for my vehicle...

 

Best of both worlds - Buy your own oil and filter(don't forget the crush washer) - I use Amsoil and an OEM filter - then just pay the dealer for labor (costs me $20 out the door). Costs less than their Mobil1 "full synthetic" oil change, you don't have to get dirty, they top off the washer fluid, I get a free once-over of the car & a couple cups of free coffee.

 

you can get 5qt of mobil 1, castrol, pennzoil ultra synthetics for $25 at Wal Mart.

Set of Rhino Ramps makes oil changes easy. Be sure to buy a tarp so you dont get any spills on your concrete.

also, buy your filters in bulk and they'll be cheaper.....change your oil at your leisure...when you have time...not when the dealer has time.
