Official S-Class Coupe Thread
It looks great, more athletic looking, looks more like a modern BMW but better, interior looks great too. First red interior I have really liked. Mercedes is on a roll design wise with this new S class coupe, new S class, and new C class, I still like the quad/peanut headlight design of the previous models better though, I think they should have stuck with that design for the front ends and just enhanced it. So it will go back to being called the S class coupe over the CL coupe, interesting.
Very uninspired. Total yawner.
Agreed the back is totally a Passat CC with a chrome unibrow.
Front end is just a widened version of the CLA front. If Lexus did the next gen LS with a stretched CT front end they would be widely lynched by the press. But since it's MB they'll just praise the "family look".
And as before with the spy shots I still see this in the side windows:

Perhaps, two-door vehicles are produced in lesser quantities compared to their four-door counterparts?

I have to say, I always find it amusing when people say "it looks like this from x other brand" before they look to the car's own brand history to see if its an evolution of an already existing design. The last 2 generations of CL's (aka S-class coupes) have had very similar window lines.

After that Mercedes turned into junk. Today they're just chintzy cars. That under-deliver in most aspects.
I don't care what anyone says but before I purchased my 2IS I checked out the C250 and it was the epitome of trash.
