Very smart and logical refresh. Basically mainstreaming the front and making it more elegant, smooth, and mature. It's basically a Fusion front, which has been well received (Aston Martin looks). The previous scaffolding air intake area and grille were goofy and a point I commented on when the current Focus debuted.
Only possible downside to this facelift is the front now looks very close to other cars in Ford's line-up. We've talked much about how several companies are losing model identity, in the name of creating corporate identity. Could Ford be next? Help or hurt? Traditionally, the Big Three have usually kept unique styling for most of their models.

If you ask me, it's helping. Fusion is quickly becoming one of the best selling sedans. They are everywhere in both ICE and Hybrid guise. It's a hot product, and this cheaper Focus can only add to that
