Looks like a mini S-class to me kinda...Lets just hope it doesn't have that 2-bar steering wheel, and the Corvette exhaust tip looking air vents carried over

Should be interesting. MBZ like BMW and Audi has turned up the intensity of their products. In comparison, Lexus, Acura and Infiniti are taking their sweet time

Looks like MB is really trying to make their grills bigger
Identity purpose. Everyone is doing that.

Well, it doesn't have the 2-spoke steering wheel.

I'm rather surprised by how there's barely coverage on the '15 C-Class, as a few months ago it got leaked via a few uncovered FEP prototypes(no disguise at all, except on lights). Here's one of photos, as the others seem to have been removed since then(likely via cease and desist M-B corporate). I'll also add the next best photos of the front without cladding that show the more concave shape of the headlights.

interesting.. the interior door handles and door lock button shapes are very similar to the new S class. Very curvy in nature

Both the pre production and render have my attention. Mainly because of it's elegant simplicity

Personally, Audi is arguably the best among the mainstream luxury brands. Mercedes is trying to chase them down. Elegance + class + modern designs are what these 2 brands are able to exude in their new designs. All the other lux brands are lagging behind in a big way.

That the funniest comment on CL board I've ever heard. Audi entry level look cheap interiorwise. I can see that MB chase Audi by using the same cheap material. Though I hope that nav on C-class is not that tacky.

Default 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible Spied (C205)

Mercedes is getting ready to tackle BMW's very successful new 3 Series with a whole bunch of new compact sedans, coupes and, for the first time, convertibles as well. Known internally as the W205, this new platform will first spawn the sedan, but our spy photographers have now snapped photos of the first-ever C-Class Cabriolet model... That very well could be the next e class coupe, which is based on the c-class chassis.

Timing isn't right. The next C-class will be shown late next year as a 2015 model, with the convertible coming a short while later. The next gen E-class variants are due out a little while later.

This is also part of MB's plan to take the C-class a bit upmarket.
