Default Gestural Interface to Replace Cars Secondary Controls?

Tom Cruise used 'em in "Minority Report", and no less a developer than Google is working on a gestural interface to replace the multiple buttons and ***** in your car's interior. How will it work? Think a finger flick to open a window, a rotating motion to control the entertainment system, or HVAC, sweeping the rim of the steering wheel for turn signals, etc, etc. The idea is to remove all of the buttons and ***** from the dash and create a more "organic" interface with your car.

Boy, you'd better not talk with your hands . . .

I just got a latest smart phone with Gestural Interface..............it is terrible

Granted it is the 1st generation, but I don't see how it can ever work perfectly.............maybe in 10 years.

So we will have people spazzing out and break dancing in their cars to get things to work. New is not always better. This is one of those times
