Angry Extended Warranty Issue

Hi, Any suggestions on how I can get the $2895.00 returned to me as promised, when I bought the warranty? I have tried for over two years, Lexus is saying its a third party problem. Even though I got it at the Lexus showroom, when I bought the car. Seems like a real scam to me. Please help. Thanks. Pat G.

It's probably not a Lexus Platinum warranty.It it's a third party warranty,you have to notify that company.

I bought it in the Lexus showroom. The finance guy talked me into it. At NO time was I told it was a third party item. Had I known that, I wouldnt have bought it.
I was PROMISED my FULL cost back if I didnt use it.SWhich I did not.
I went back to the showroom TWICE to get the money and the gave me BS stories on how I needed to wait. THEN the tell me I waited TOO LONG !!!. It was a TOTAL RIP OFF . Performed IN A LEXUS SHOWROOM. DISGRACEFUL.

if its in writing (if not you're SOL) start going up the chain of command; if they still don't cooperate go to Lexus corporate 1 (800) 255-3987

I can see that it is not the responsibility of Lexus corporate, but it does seem they should intervene on your behalf with the dealer. Otherwise, take the dealer/third party insurer to small claims court.
