Nice updates that should of came with the car from the beginning.
Would like to see at Model refresh on the Fsport - LED Headlights and Fogs (at least optional), NEW ENGINE, LFA gauge cluster like the IS, side window shades, Fully adjustable passenger seat.

IMHO, Japan Domestic Market will "ALWAYS" be the reference standard for more than 95% of Lexus vehicles especially in terms of features and amenities.
For instance:
Stuff like the telematics:
Lexus G-Link (Japan) >>>> Lexus Enform (USA/Canada)
Anyways, I should check the lexus.jp site if the minor updates like 8AT and BSM-RCTA are also on sale in Japan.

Heck, even the 6AT of the original 4GS GS350 F-sport is already nice imho. The 8AT in this case is just an added bonus imho
Anyways:
The upgrades seems really nice.
However, the only one minor downside is that the Night Vision System will be removed. Still, this could probably be just for the US market...........and it's not yet sure if this applies to other territories as well (i.e. such as Japan which is the lead market for Lexus features and amenities)
On the plus side, there were tons of new features added so the positives still outweigh that one negative point.
It's all good so far

Rear cross traffic alert is the only thing I wish my 4GS FSport had. Power folding mirrors, trunk and LED fogs are cool but I can live without them.

I have BSM and Rear Cross Traffic Alert on my Rav4, and at first, I didn't think I wanted or cared for either of them. Now, after a few weeks of ownership, I'd never want another car without these features. Really helpful and truly add an extra layer of safety.
Glad to see that the GS gets them - this is great!

Like I said in my post above, all of these are great improvements, but I also agree with a few here that they should have been on the launch year. Not sure why the 13GS only came with BSM but not RCTA like the ES, which has both. Does not make sense.

Same goes with 8AT for instance, and all of these features.

I would have thought a car like the GS would have the cross traffic warning and folding mirrors from the get go. My wifes Sienna has that feature for Gods sake. My wife will be happy to hear that her Sienna had features that a GS350 did not

What I would like to see in the new GS if I were to ever go back to the GS would be simply the feature that allows the base of the seat to extend for taller drivers. I dont think I saw that when I sat in one recently. Thats one thing I have admired about the Q50 and G37. Even though its a midsize car it gives you that seat feature that you usually only get in large premium luxury sedans. I think overall the GS350 is very very hard to beat. For me the fact that its a Lexus that looks amazing, handles better than it looks ( and better than the competing 5 series ), and is better than the previous gen in every way is enough to get me back even with the added thigh support. But it would be great with it
