so doesn't lexus need this kind of service to be so-called 'tier 1'? believe they do have a lot of customization available in japan at least.
i won't these extreme customizations to be required in order to be in tier one. it gives extra points but i think it's a very small portion to begin with anywhere. it's just like performance, having m and amg equivalent give extra points but doesn't define tier 1 or not.
lexus does have very high level of customization but it's only in japan. however, before reaching there, i think lexus here in the US need to have more options and flexibility to begin with anyway. there are quite a lot of options missing here in the US spec cars, not to mention most of the time you can't get certain things without getting something else together.

Considering we're they're biggest market. I'd hope they be nicer to us. Lately the lack of options and BS packaging is my biggest gripe with Lexus
