Looking at its proportions, its better than anything they've put out in years. But still doesn't look premium, maybe needs better wheels/wheel fitment?
Lower any car and tint the windows and you'll have this. Always done with company photos on a new car. Don't fall for it.
A local Acura dealership parked everything in the back and left one white TLX parked under a lamp. I've never seen that done, they must really need this to succeed.

That's because at the 32-35k price range, you can still get a top of the line Camry V6 for less, that's why.

Shouldn't this be the case? A Camry for less than a TLX? Acura touts itself as an upscale or luxury make. Why wouldn't its mid sized sedan be more than a midsized family sedan?
-V6 engine should have been over 320HP to compete
-SH AWD should have been available on the 4 cyl models
-Advanced package with all the tech nannys should have been made available on the 4 cyl
From the reviews, it looks like the 4 cyl model is the one to get in terms of driving dynamics and economy. Why compromise on it and make it not available with all the options?!
I really don't even think Acura is aim for the IS buyer with this car. It seem as if Acura is trying to play the conservative role. Someone that wants a Lexus ES with a little more pizzazz I guess. Rather it work whose knows.

I would take an Optima SXL before I touched a camry. I don't care how long the camry would last, whole really keeps their car more than 5 years?.. I'd rather like what I drive.
I don't think 320hp is relevant for the buyers in this class. When shopping for a FWD, relaxed, entry-levelish car in this segment, I think buyers prioritize smoothness and MPG moreso than outright performance.

Because in the end, the V6 is going to be their top of the line, not the I4 even if it drives better. I could care less about the tech, but I do agree SH-AWD would be nice on a vehicle like this.
