When I was in high school, a lot of the cool kids in our semi-rural area modded their brake lights by installing a cutoff switch under the dashboard. The idea was that in the event of pursuit by police, you could shut off your headlights and brake lights to render your car "stealthy" and allow you to disappear into the night. I'm not sure anyone ever actually performed this maneuver, but it was "cool" to have that capability. (No, I didn't do it.)

Now this shows up on "There I Fixed It" - the backwoods version of that little toggle switch - as installed by Bubba.



I'm worried that this amateur "electrician" will one day step on the brakes and set fire to his car.
