2014 Mercedes Benz S-class
Look at those wheel wells:

What is this a Dodge Caravan?

Or maybe a Journey? Avenger? An old Sebring? You know cars with some of the cheapest looking bodywork around?

And on a $50k car from a brand that claims "the best or nothing"? That's something Blueprint can lol to.
MB is so overrated it's not even funny. Oh lord would you buy me a Mercedes Benz.

I second that.
Overrated? Really name me one car that offers the amenities/features the new S class offers.
How many car companies even have a car that competes with a S65 or even now S550? Not many

Every brand has base models and base trims, so you are going to pick on those? Mercedes tagline "the best of nothing" is as appropriate as it comes, they have a long, rich and PROVEN history where people and experts consider their products the best and the S-class might be the best example of this. One of the issues with forums is people can spout of their opinion for days, months, YEARS and no one know what their points of reference are.
So yes I lol'd and so did most of the internet. I admitted at first the huge wheel arches made little sense to me but over time it made plenty of sense and in a sea of "SAFE" the W221 was quite aggressive especially with the AMG trim. They took a chance on a flagship, pretty rare in this class and it worked well. Surely they took a step back in styling to appease people that might have thought it was too much.
If it wasn't for the S-class we would not have a LS. Respect history and kudos to Mercedes Benz.
