Like many enthusiasts I love the M5, but did they even get the situation fixed with the brand new motors blowing up?? Regardless of looks and performance if its in the shop for major stuff it takes the pleasure out of owning and driving the car.

What changes?????

I don't see anything different! I think any M-car at the very least needs a different hood and fenders if you want to distinguish. Currently the M5 shares all the same body panels as the regular 5-series which is why I do not like the car at all.

i don't disagree, but at the same time seems like car prices are soooo inflated these days

mid 40s to 50 for a compact luxury, 60-80 for a mid-size, those all ouch me

It is pretty eye opening to see the entire entry level class now easily hit 40-55k which was unheard of before. The 1998 GS 400 started at 44k

Yet sales continue to rise but leasing is up. Its becoming painfully obvious to me you need to spend 100k to get a nice car

Maybe they needed to lower the output on the speakers for the fake engine sound
