It looks like I am taking delivery of a 2013 Mercedes CLS550 tomorrow.....24 month lease. The car had a .00160 MF....wouldn't it be wise to pay it off entirely to save that money (it comes out to $5,000)?
I'm likely going to go way over in miles.....I normally drive 20k-25k per year.....and Benz charges 0.20 per mile past 10k miles per year (based on residuals...it would be cheaper to pay miles at end then the added price they wanted monthly for more miles).
Not following how prepaying lease payments saves you money--you lose out on the use of that money when you prepay loke that. Over mileage is separate from monthly lease payments--prepaying wont get you out of over mileage.
