Very excited to see this beasty in person! Any thoughts on cost??

Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. has completed development of his RTR package for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang, which he revealed today at the 2014 SEMA show taking place this week in Las Vegas. The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR is available with any of the 2015 Mustang’s engines, with a Spec 1 package focusing purely on appearance modifications and a Spec 2 package including both appearance and performance upgrades.

The appearance mods include a chin spoiler, custom upper and lower grills, a rear spoiler, a rear diffuser and new side sills. The performance modifications include adjustable dampers and sway bars, lowered springs, a cold air intake, a custom Magnaflow exhaust system, and a supercharger. The most powerful Mustang RTR is rated at 725 horsepower and features the Mustang GT’s 5.0-liter V-8 with the supercharger attached.

Gittin Jr.’s first Mustang RTR was introduced back in 2009. Since then the dealer-installed upgrades have become wilder and grown to include appearance, engine and chassis modifications, offering something for everybody. In fact, for 2015, many of the upgrades are available as individual parts so fans can pick and match exactly what they need.

The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be available in January 2015, and this time Mustang fans from around the globe will have access to it. Yes, with the release of the 2015 Mustang, RTR upgrades will be available at an increasing number of Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] dealers worldwide now that the Mustang is going global.

“Ford has really done an amazing job with the new 2015 Ford Mustang,” Gittin Jr. said at today’s reveal. “The all new platform has very easily allowed us to mesh RTR’s tastefully-aggressive styling and modified performance to offer our most capable, best-handling fun-to-drive RTR’s to date.”

Default Ford Mustang King Cobra debuts at SEMA show

Jamie Allison, Richard Petty pull the sheets from hot custom Mustang

Ford's Jamie Allison and NASCAR legend Richard Petty tore the sheets off the new Mustang King Cobra at the SEMA show on Tuesday. The new muscle car follows a long line of Kings from the Blue Oval, dating back to when Carroll Shelby stuffed a high-performance engine in a Cooper Monaco.

Details are scarce for now, but Ford showed us a video of the new Mustang King Cobra dropping a 10.97-second lap time in the quarter mile, which puts it conspicuously ahead of the new Hellcat offerings from Dodge. Ford also said that if you go to the Ford Racing shop and grab "one of everything," this is what you get.

We're not sold on the scaly painjob just yet, which one of our editors called "New Jersey on wheels." It does however follow the ostentatious lineup of previous Kings -- check the frumpy Mustang II King Cobra for a reference.

We'll bring you more information on the new King Cobra as we get it.

At the very least, your graphite gray color. The color yopu chose would have been my last choice.

By the way, please explain why Vossen does not offer Black Wheels as a standard color on their product. Seem slike thats a custom order item at extra $. Seems like that shoudl be a stock wheel color as it is with most wheel companies.
Thanks. I plan on doing bronze as my next color option. We offer the graphite finish to still have a darker finish as an option for customers. We loved the graphite finish that was showed to us and stuck with it ever since.

Some great review videos on Youtube.. Caught a few last night such as the Air Raid intake install on the turbo, Magnaflow cat back on GT, and road test reviews... The Turbo sounds pretty good given the 4cyl engine....

i love the new 'Stang, but i wish they change that front emblem (mustang horse) into some new design. for some reason it gives me a cheap feeling about the car whenever i see that emblem.
