It has the power but the 918 is AWD and that grip comes in handy on the ring. We will see. Its like battle of the Gods
I am with you, I have a feeling the LaFerrari can't beat the 918's lap time. Due to the AWD and in general, Porsche have much better track engineering then Ferrari. Ferrari just looks and sounds and feels much cooler
The Ferrari is suppose to be 600~800 lbs lighter then the Porsche though...............

quite significant, but yeah back to the AWD thing, LaFerrari will have a harder time hooking up. But then again that lighter weight probably gives the Ferrari better road feel though to digress again, Porsche has their EPS down to a science. Can't wait till LaFerrari, P1 and 918 line-up.

If history repeat again, the Porsche would be faster but the Ferrari is more exciting to drive.
Is hard to say. The Mclaren F1 was absolutely amazing but the 12C is not that great.
The initial P1 ring time is much slower then the 918.
I still enjoy the MP4-12C (though I disagree on the naming ), It doesn't seem to beat you up as much as an equivalent 458 Italia or Gallardo which are seemingly more raw and the better supercar. But to it's credit the 12C has a nice balance of a refined or bonkers drive.
