They were probably trying to get out?

 

or maybe it wasn't closed completely. not entirely impossible, i know in that region a lot of them drive without seat belts, etc...

 

I think in those pics they were wearing seat belts.

Man, that makes me cringe... had to be a scary accident, especially with all that sand, not being able to see a darn thing...

 

One of them was sticking his hand out of the sunroof as clearly seen in the pics, not exactly "safe driving" going on there while on a steep sandy hill. Plus, this region of the world is infamous for dangerous drivers who pull crazy maneuvers. I wouldn't be at all surprised that the door popped open because it wasn't closed properly, or because one of them tried to get out.

 

Looks like the guy tried to bail. I know some Jeep guys who do some hardcore off-roading and have absolutely thrashed their rigs, but their Jeeps are OLD and not worth a ton of $$$$. They've rolled them over too driving on rocks and my one buddy got his stuck up past the windshield wipers in a river.

I guess my point is it must be nice to have enough $$$$ to completely trash a new $80,000 truck and not think anything of it.

Man they alive or they dead? The door was shut, but it slammed into the sand and it bust open. Ypou can see it if you look carefully at the pictures.
