Nice to see they have been working on that. Now for them to do that for the side mirrors (have two small screens on the inside) and you can look at them quickly to see if there is anyone in the blind-spot.

Nissan/Infiniti already have that All Around Monitor (Birds Eye View) works really well So this is just more of the good stuff

The mercedes all around view camera is much better. It doesn't look as chopped off as the nissan/infiniti one. The images are blended into one another for a true no blind spot view.

As it stands now, even if video cameras and screens are made available, three mirrors are still mandated by NHTSA - rear-view mirror and two side mirrors. State agencies are all over this as well.

That's one of the clues that a rendering of a car will never reach production as drawn. They don't have legal outside mirrors, the bumper height and construction is usually illegal, lighting is inadequate, out of spec, or both; door handles may be missing, and the wheel gaps won't allow the installation of chains (mandatory as well). Sad facts of life for designers who have to work inside some pretty dated constraints.
