you mean "trailer" that was too heavy for the bridge, right? Thats why they transferred to actual trailer that is much lighter and Tundra for that small portion that goes over the bridge.

"Trailer" that will do all of the moving except for that bridge, is not a trailer, but 4 modular vehicles that are being controlled together by engineer walking next to them, they are self propelled and heavy duty obviously :-).

But as I said above, they are too heavy for last part of the trip and thats why Tundra is there.

Not for the section that the Tundra pulled it on. Caltrans would not approve the vehicle to go on the 405 overpass, so it was hooked up to Toyota's dolly and pulled with the Tundra.

Seeing the Tundra being pulled in person was one historical event. Seeing the Endeavour in person...speechless!

The stock Toyota Tundra Crew Max Limited 4X4 that pulled Endeavour. All OEM, no modifications.

Retired Endeavour Astronaut Garrett Reisman and currently an Engineer for Space-X.

One of 3 bumper stickers that will be available at your local Toyota dealer...

Those shots of Endeavour are absolutely amazing! I saw Enterprise at the Smithsonian back in 2009, and it doesn't hold a candle to seeing her space worthy sisters. I saw Endeavour fly over Sacramento 3 weeks ago and it was an awesome site. Hopefully I'll get to see her in LA soon.
