It looks almost unchanged from the Shinari concept. I am so glad Mazda ditched the dopey smile they put on the rest of their cars.
Yep. Shinari concept became the Takeri concept before becoming the production Mazda 6. Decent enough looking car. Would love to see a stronger engine option though.

There will likely be a more potent option down the road, be it in a higher trim or Mazdaspeed version. Till then though, they have made great strides in arguably one of the fiercest segments

always liked the MazdaSpeed 6 .. Hopefully they will bring it back into production.
From the pictures, it looks much nicer than the last-generation model, which, IMO, was somewhat of a disappointment....especially with its rather cheap interior and awkward, RX-8-like front hump-fenders.

I generally wasn't a big fan of the last MS6, but one nice thing it had that the smaller MS3 lacked was a good AWD system. Let's hope the new one (if indeed put into production) carries the AWD system over. The AWD on the last MS6 also helped prevent the FWD MS3's noted torque-steer, which actually required some computer-controlled torque-limitation in the lower gears.
