I was headed to lunch and saw this parked in the lot. It looks like the new Volvo 5 door hatch. Initially I wasnt sure if it was Ford , but when you look at the pics you can see the brake lights go all the way to the roof line ( very Volvo feature). I love my work area because they do all f the Summer testing out here in AZ during the Summer. I have seen the new ES, 4GS, new Ford Fusion, new Porsche 997,and Fisker Karma all testing before they were finally released. I will keep the pics coming when I catch them on the streets

That's what I thought as well until I saw the brake lights ( then again ford owns Volvo so they may share mild design cues)

 

I think Ford sold off the Volvo brand, but agree they could still have some design cues from those days.

Yeah Ford sold off Volvo to the Chinese, but when the V40 was conceived it may have been right before Ford sold
