Traction/stability and Launch-Control systems are put into high-performance cars for a reason.
I'll give these guys some credit, though. They are at least doing this kind of stuff on the track/strip where it belongs (although insurance often doesn't cover track-use). Too many morons try this nonsense on the public-streets.
Well i would assume at the track, you would turn these off.
That's a Z06. The front bumper is fiberglass but the fenders are carbon fiber. The bumper and pass fender will need replacing along with the headlight which is expensive as well.

No. Not necesarily. Not if you can't handle a lot of torque without getting sideways. And, besides, Launch Control sometimes gives better 0-60 and quarter-mile times than trying to do it the old-fashioned way....and spinning out.
expensive? no not at all really...compared to any Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bugatti, etc, etc....
Sure it's relative but I wasn't comparing them to other cars. I'm looking to get a set of black headlights for mine though because I like the contrast of black headlights against the red. Care to contribute to my black headlight fund? Nice avatar btw.
