GS front facia redesign can't come soon enough! Can't believe this thing has blacked out splitter! Finally some one showed common sense and said "if we are doing it we are doing it all the way".

 

Make of it what you will. It almost looks like there is a second screen below it.

 

thats just looks like the middle headrest, looks like AC vents are under the big screen

liking this LS. i think they did a good job. i'm content with it. so,,,,, wifey gets the GS and i'll see about this LS. always wanted one anyway. the whole back of the car,,, from the trunk down, is what the GS should have had, more aggression, more character.

 

So far the spindle looks better on all the models except the GS. Certainly looks pretty good to me on the LS.

 

Yeah, Actually I was fine with the gs's styling, but compare with the LS, the GS become ugly. One predator, one superhero. They really done a perfect job on the LS, both regular and F sport.

 

a lot of people doubted if facelift could give LS status it needs, but there is no doubt that LS is the king of Lexus stable, once again.

I cant wait to see the interior!

 

I was thinking the same thing , even though its still a let down. I don't know if this refresh/redesign is going to hurt sales or help it. I think a lot of 4LS owners will hold on to theirs since they look so similar, but some may like it because it does so similar. I just think the competition in this segment requires a little more than what they did here. Don't get me wrong. I love the design, BUT I was expecting a bit more. I know that there is not really a lot of mind blowing new tech for luxury cars. Just seems like the high end stuff is trickling down to the lowed end cars. The cheap Fords can now park themselves now for God's sake. Im thinking night vision, cameras on all four sides of the car, and maybe next gen ipod interface/infotainment systems. I think the details I am seeing in the new pics make the car looks more muscular, and youthful. I would buy one CPO in a few years, but going to break the bank to buy a new one right now. Still curious to see what Mercedes has in store for the S class. I have seen the test mules and Im not sure about the flatter fenders, but they know what they are doing.

 

YES flushed headlamp washers! I always hated the button/raised version.



Far as the new 460 non sport very nice, great job Lexus!

 

Since I set my expectations so low I'm actually merely impressed by this. I really love the front and tail lights, but i'm still partial for the front styling. I still think it's a little too radical for the legendary "LS" name, but I do like it myself. The killer for me is that the side profile and the rear kinda give it away that it is still the old chassis. So far so good for me. I'm holding my interior expectations high, especially with that huge *** screen hinted from the photos. Would definitely see myself in a Blk/Red F-sport in the future

 

It gotta be a level above the already impressive GS interior, can't wait!!
