Talking Finally pulled my trigger, Blacksc400's new ride!!

Hi CL members and friends, I have been searching for a car for a while, and it has been fun doing all the comparsion, research, daydreaming in the process, and I finally decided what I want and made the move.

It is a 2009 BMW 750Li individual package. Pretty loaded with head-up display, luxury seating, premium sound, sport package, camera package etc. The best part is it has the color combo I love and can't resist: moonlight pearl/black leather/piano black wood trim!
It does come with CPO warranty and remaining factory warranty and free service, so I don't have to worry about things break down! And since I don't own any car over 2-3 years, I will trade in this car before warranty expires!

I did considered an used 09 LX570, 2011 E350 AMG, 2013 GS350 F, and 2010 LS460L before I chose this car, but I felt I would be happiest behind the wheel of the bimmer. More of a emotional choice though, since the one I really would like to get and keep was the LX570.

Ohh well, after 6 days of ownership and 185 miles later, I really has no complaint about this car. Love the power, the handling, the features, and the space. Only thing I really hate is the HOLY brake dust! The wheels turned almost black after 185 miles mostly highway driving, and the individual wheels are pain to clean!

On to the pictures!

VIP for life!!

My son loves it too!

Very nice, didn't realize the 09 is the redesigned model, don't see them very often. What were you driving before this if you don't mind me asking? You go through cars like crazy haha

Thanks guys!

Yep, the white on black is THE combo I want, plus it's pearl not regular alpine white.

I got a 11 Sienna before this, I bought it when my wife is pregnant, so I thought "OK, time for a Van!" But after a year with my son, I realize I don't need a Van yet, plus it made me go to sleep while driving.

Here is what I got before the Van:

I was kind of pissed/overwhelmed about how complicate the controls are, but now I kind of get used to it, it's not that bad, since I can still find "hard" buttons to operate the AC, Audio and etc.

Still don't like all the "auto" stuff, and some of the features I will never use, like active cruise, auto brake etc.

the idrive in your car is much improved already. try to first gen and that's going to **** you off big time. you will eventually get used to most of the stuff i think. i am used to a lot of stuff in my s550 command already as well. some stuff still the touch screen will be better

can't wait to hear you talk more about the drive!

Nice choice. The 7 series has great "presence" on the road.

It also must be a nice change of pace to try out a competing luxury brand.

Congrats on the new car brother! Did you really trade the LS on a van though? I might have kept the LS, BMW's aren't really my cup of tea, but I do love their interior's!
