It's a given that mods don't add value to the car and in alot of cases will actually hurt the value of the car. Yes, their is a market out their for MKIV Supras, but most people would want a stock unmolested one and those are the ones that command the high prices. The example your looking at has had major engine work done AND has been repainted, both are hard sells.

Your best bet would be to find a stock one.

I would suggest getting a stock 6-speed TT or one with just a few BPU mods.

if you want a good car to invest in from that era, try NSX

If it is a 97-98 low mile TT bone stock will it be a good investment. Other than that it is just a money pit.
