It doesn't have that rental car vibe to it. Steering wheel reminds me of the Geico gecko's head.

I saw that too - but keep in mind it was the Eco model and not the one they wanted for the test (assuming you're referring to C&D).

At first glance of the new Impala, I'm like - wow! Something that doesn't look like a turd! Let's just hope it drives as good as it looks.

Interesting. Plenty of ugly corporate-GM-parts-bin interior pieces, but that is to be expected. Some elements of the exterior look nice. V6 is a good one and the eAssist is a great option too.

Looks good, but Chevy needs to get rid of the green button backlighting.

Wow, that looks really good. Interior seems much better but yeah that two-tone treatment looks like a dash mat.

Seems Chevy is dropping their bowtie grill for a traditional one with slants.

Thing is, is it still a FWD Impala?

The exterior, I don't know why reminds me of the second generation Infiniti M, not that it's a bad thing, I think it's a fine looking car though, the steering wheel is from the S-Class!

Kudo's GM, but get with the times and go back to RWD, or even better, AWD.

I like the interior, except for the steering wheel. But I am sad to say Sorry GM, but you still got nothin' on the new 300C, or the Ford Taurus. Gettin' close...just not...quite...there...yet.

Basically a nice-looking car (and a decent-looking interior/dash), but the roofline has too much of that humpback-whale, Mercedes CLS-stuff. That can rob headroom and block some visibility.

I'm afraid that, with current styling-trends, headroom and visibility are going to be the next casualties in many sedans, just as some ride-comfort was when the industry went to stiffer suspensions and lower-profile tires.

It looks alright. Definitely an improvement over the current one.
