All-New 2014 Impala – Chevrolet Reinvents an Iconic Sedan
At first glance of the new Impala, I'm like - wow! Something that doesn't look like a turd! Let's just hope it drives as good as it looks.
Interesting. Plenty of ugly corporate-GM-parts-bin interior pieces, but that is to be expected. Some elements of the exterior look nice. V6 is a good one and the eAssist is a great option too.

Kudo's GM, but get with the times and go back to RWD, or even better, AWD.
I like the interior, except for the steering wheel. But I am sad to say Sorry GM, but you still got nothin' on the new 300C, or the Ford Taurus. Gettin' close...just not...quite...there...yet.

Basically a nice-looking car (and a decent-looking interior/dash), but the roofline has too much of that humpback-whale, Mercedes CLS-stuff. That can rob headroom and block some visibility.
I'm afraid that, with current styling-trends, headroom and visibility are going to be the next casualties in many sedans, just as some ride-comfort was when the industry went to stiffer suspensions and lower-profile tires.

maybe their new marketing slogan?
