No, this one is brand new.

You are thinking of the one Justin Bell did for Jay Leno Garage back in 2009, Jay wasn't on that video:

You put it nicely, they both got their little better edges. I concluded the C-GT is better due to the higher pitch and sweeter sounds. The LFA is a very close 2nd. 3rd is probably the 599 GTO.

Also this ranking apply to the U.S. only, as the Zonda F is right up there with the C-GT and LFA.

 

Leno saying good things about the LFA is huge. He has a lot of cred among enthusiasts.

 

What's Leno's response to the inevitable question of

"Hey Jay, I love hearing you say all these great things about the LFA but why don't you have one and didn't talk about getting one after this great review?"

I think Black is my least favorite LFA color. It just doesn't come off in pictures the way the others do and that's a shame.
