wow interesting renderings. I'm not a fan of the rear (too Audi-esque), but the front and sides flow nicely. look fluid and sharp

What that article didn't mention is the next gen E Class is going to have some sort of carbon fiber/aluminum chassis that weights roughly 600 lbs less than the current model. So imagine a E63 with a tt v-8 that weights only ~3400 lbs.!!

This rendering is absolute horrible. The front end is very mazda looking, totally not the direction mercedes is heading towards; the sides look super busy: the two contour side body lines look horrible compared to a single body line; and lastly, the rear end is just plain uninspiring.

LOL that's what I was thinking too

Rear end is horrible but overall it looks pretty good. I never really liked the current gen e-class...

Those skinny tail lights remind me of a Audi.

Out of the GS/E-class/A6/5 series, the 5 series will be the heaviest and piggiest of them all. Can you imagine the day when the BMW 5 series was the LEAST sporty sedan in its class???

I hope that rear end never makes it to production.

That's believable, considering the front mimics the styling of the new CLS. Not a fan though. Looks like a smiley face with chipmunk cheeks.

Not bad MB. Just tone the car down a little bit and it will be a hit once again.

don't think these renderings are from mb, so kinda pointless to critique.
