car search...suggestions appreciated.
once again trying to replace my wife's 08 Audi TT Coupe 2.0T 6-SPD DSG
car can be new or used....
Must haves:
Coupe 2+2
around $32K
slushbox
under 10K miles
cannot be stripped
2010+ preferably 2011+
sunroof
Out of the question cars:
1. VW GTI , VW GOLF R.....these were the first cars I recommended but she wants a more "upscale" brand
2. Camaro
3. Mustang
4. CTS
5. 135i / 128i
Possibilities:
328i
G37
C70 (prob too much $$)
A5 (def too much $$)
Any other cars I'm missing?

So if you recommended the GTi or Golf is a Coupe required since those are hatchbacks? If she would be accepting of a hatch that opens up a lot more possibilities.
C70 - my wife owns a 2011. $38K new out the door with a nice number of options so getting a pre-owned for near where you are looking shouldn't be much of an issue if you are willing to travel for it. Reason I say travel is you are looking for a pre-owned with under 10,000 miles on it which will either be an off 1-year lease, a car which someone regretted buying and dumped, or one that is off a 2 or 3 year lease and was a garage queen. All three of those are going to be rare finds and may require some long distance dealing.
Don't forget the S60 in your searches. $30K nicely equipped. Volvo also counts the C30 as a coupe, which I do not since it has a hatch but that is just me. And the warranty/maintenace program is pretty damned good for the marketplace.
Mercedes C-Class (again a rare one in her criteria)
3-series Coupe (another rarity)
I think you will be better off convincing her to settle on either a normal (non-luxury) brand or lifting your price ceiling.

I need to know before I can recommend something.Where you are in Denver, of course, the weather can get pretty harsh...and the mile-high altitude (not to mention the even-higher mountains just to the west) saps some engine power. That's why AWD and/or a turbo might be a good idea.

FWD, RWD, or AWD? You didn't indicate.....or doesn't it matter

Also, when is the FRS/BRZ supposed to be available/for sale?
thanks.

Given the criteria you listed for the TT replacement, I'd look first at a 2010 G37 with the mileage you want (10,000)....I think that was a good suggestion on your part.

Good thing you have an SUV, because a small RWD sports-car like the BRZ just wouldn't cut it in Denver's winters. In fact, I see Denver just got pummeled with another blizzard yesterday.
yep, I wouldn't have made it out of the driveway without 4WD, they didn't plow any streets in my neighborhood...we got approx 15-17 inches of snow...see my bosses car below...
she won't consider any Cadillac, she still considers them pimp cars for some reason
