but yes i do agree for a LC under toyota brand, it's really darn expensive

Agreed. Toyota also has the Sequoia as well which is made in the U.S.

they cant lower the price of LC because it is the same car as LX, sans the interior.

I think rest of the world got screwed here with LX being on sale mostly in US only and we get LC which is obviously decontented to not to compete with LX.

i actually spent a lot of time in 2010 LC.. and it is really nice car.

But once you see LX interior, it becomes immediately apparent that they started on LX first, did all they could and then said - how to make it cheaper and how to make it less Lexus like?

Same goes for GX and Prado.

LC is nice and all, but every Lexus has more attention to detail inside than LC. And I cant help to wonder if that is by design. My 3GS was more luxurious vehicle in details than LC and I am not sure that my IS isnt too. I am not saying that LC doesnt have the equipment to justify the price, just that it looks like someone has taken magic wand and "poof" made it Toyota.
