We had this discussion in the SC Forums. If I was leaning towards performance, I'd rather have a 350Z for the same price. If I was leaning towards luxury, I'd rather have a '98-'00 CPO SC400 for the same price. As far as looks and what you're paying for, the G35 coupe doesn't hold a candle to either car, IMO.
it's nice looking. definitely better than the sedan.
i saw one on the street today (90% sure it was the G35 coupe, side looks sorta like Z and rear taillights are very similar to G35 sedan, but longer.) Maybe dealer car or something (about 1 mile radius of nearest Infiniti dealer)
then I passed by the Infiniti dealer, they had about 2~3 M45s out side. Gotta say it's one ugly car

I've moderated my opinion somwhat. NOTHING is as ugly as the Aztek. Now I just think the G35 sedan is awkward-looking and the coupe extrememly ordinary. They're not offensively bad designs, just boring ones.

I'd say the days of finding a CPO 98-00 SC400 are pretty much over. who will CPO a 5-7 year old car?
