Check out THIS interior, guys.............
Wow. Check THIS out on the new Buick LaCrosse GL concept.
If the quality of the actual materials inside used inside can equal the surface-looks here (which, unfortunately, doesn't happen very often at GM), this car, IMO, is going to be a winner. Watch out, ES350.

Umm where
...looks like padded dash with offset matching stitches, and woodgrain everywhere, suede headliner...
Oh wait..I see it...
The damn window switches. The trim around them. No I am not being sarcastic. That looks craptacular.
But everything else is ON POINT. W2G GM.

Well, that's why I said IF the materials inside used can equal the physical looks. We saw that to a large extent in the Enclave...a stunning wood-panelled look everywhere on the surface that, except for the steering-wheel wood, turned out to be the usual GM bargain-basement plastic with a flashy surface-coat on it.

The dash is well designed. The center stack is a bit busy. I love the wrap-around wood trim.
The steering wheel and seat designs are too busy. It's a bit too much for the eyes, especially for the type of market clientele for Buick. And the contrasting matte look of the headliner is a bit too striking. You have shiny brown wood, matte tan headliner and steering wheel, shiny brown and black leather, contrast stitching: someone played with the colors and textures way too liberaly.
In the words of Coco Chanel: "It is always better to be slightly underdressed."

Dash looks really good! Not sure how i feel about everything else. That pattern they got going on with the leather seats just looks awkward to me. Would have looked better with red and black leather, but i don't think many Buick buyers would go for that color combo lol
It's a good step in the right direction, but I think whatever the current ES350 lost to the Lacrosse, will once again be on top for 2013 (though maybe it will be too sporty and Buick will be the new softy, who knows)
Americans dont know how to do tasteful luxury. Its always over done.
Once they found out people like chrome on luxury cars, they add way too much chrome. Same goes for leather and wood

For the most part, it looks good. Although the leather doesn't look to be very high quality. But the thing that separates the true luxury marques and the entry-level wannabes is the attention to the small details. Like mentioned before, the window switch surround looks very cheap.
